Our Marketing Team scoured the Internet for the best national CRE events to attend in 2015. We will be going to most of these, and we think you should, too. Here is our list - please share it with your friends and colleagues.


Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) CREF/Multifamily Convention 2015

When / Where: February 1 - 4 / San Diego, CA
Who’s going: CompStak! And, more than 2,500 commercial and multifamily real estate finance professionals.
Why attend: CREF is considered one of the industry’s must-attend events because of the opportunity to network with high-level CRE finance professionals.
Cost: $1,075 for MBA members, and $2,150 for non-members (Register by 1/30/2015)

SIOR Spring World Conference

When / Where: April 22 - 25 / Scottsdale, AZ
Who’s going: CompStak, and up to 1,000 SIOR designees and others involved in the sale and leasing of commercial real estate.
Why attend? Development firms, REITs and services companies can meet 700-1,000 brokers who have earned an SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation, and are considered experts in their field.
Cost: $1,170 until 3/19 and $1,270 after 3/19

ICSC RECON 2015

When / Where: May 17 - 20 / Las Vegas, NV
Who’s going: CompStak, along with 1,000 other exhibitors and 34,000 attendees
Why attend? ICSC is the largest national gathering for the shopping centers industry. It’s well known for networking opportunities, so if you’re out to meet investors, landlords, tenants or real estate service professionals, this is the place for you. Besides, it’s Vegas!
Cost: $570 for ICSC members / $1,270 for non- members

CoreNet Eastern Region Symposium

When / Where: June 8 - 9 / Washington DC
Who’s going: 400 attendees from chapters representing the New England to Mid-Atlantic corridor.
Why attend? CoreNet Global is the world’s leading association for corporate real estate and workplace professionals. The theme for this coming event is "The Art and Science of Influencing Outcomes." There will be several tours around the city, valuable educational sessions, and networking opportunities.

CREW National Convention

When / Where: Sep 30 - Oct 2 / Bellvue, WA
Who’s going? CompStak, and over 1,000 CREW Network members
Why attend? CREW Network conventions are known for quality programming and networking opportunities. Attendees experience a mix of education, professional development, and insight from some of the most thought-provoking speakers today , while maximizing networking opportunities. ULI Fall Meeting

When / Where: Oct 6 - 8 / San Francisco, CA
Who’s going? More than 6,500 attendees + CompStak
Why attend? This is a good chance to network with leaders from every sector of the real estate development industry in one place. ULI conferences also offer site tours of notable properties in the hosting city.
Cost: The event is open to members and non-members, and while costs are still being determined, ULI membership is relatively inexpensive, especially for CRE professionals under 35.

NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Conference 2015

When / Where: Oct 10 - 13 / Toronto, Canada
Who’s going? Compstak, and 1,000 industry and association leaders
Why attend? NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has a core group of developer members. This is the largest NAIOP conference of the year, and a great place to meet owners / developers.
Cost: Member registration is $1,095, non members pay $1,295

CoreNet 2015 Global Summit: Disruptive Innovation

When / Where: Oct 18 - 20 / Los Angeles, CA
Who’s going? Compstak, and over 2,500 corporate real estate executives
Why you should attend? Every CoreNet Global Summit offers opportunities to network, learn and be recognized for your achievements. The conference will include case study presentations, interactive learning sessions, smaller interest group activities, and executive development training.
Cost: $1,245 for non members, and $945 for members.
