Clean Energy Company Signs in The Foundry

A clean energy company has signed a 6,684 square foot lease at 1055 Thomas Jefferson Street Northwest, The Foundry building, in Georgetown. The three-year old company was previously renting space from a workplace solutions provider at 2 Wisconsin Circle in Chevy Chase. The new lease's starting rent is in the low-$40s per square foot for five years and six months, and it includes about six months in free rent. The Foundry building, which is owned by Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, also added a finance firm and law firm in 2013, for starting rents in the low-$40s as well.
