Midtown South is Seeing Triple
Not long after 51 Astor Place achieved triple digits rent per square foot, the luxurious bridge was crossed again, this time by the penthouse at 635 Avenue of the Americas. A software solutions company, which expanded in the building in the last quarter of 2013, has expanded yet again by taking the 7th and 8th floors of the property, a combined 21,802 square feet. The starting rent for the 9,844 square foot penthouse is just above $100 per square foot, while the starting rent for the 11,958 square foot 7th floor is in the low-$80s. Infor's previous expansion, 49,246 square feet on floor 3 to 6, was signed for starting rent in the low-$70s PSF.
