JB Star Signs at 555 Fifth Avenue
JB Star signed a lease for 10,153 SF on part of the 7th floor of ATCO's 555 Fifth Avenue. The jewelry designer and manufacturer will pay starting rent in the mid-$40s for the 15-year lease. The previous tenant on the 7th floor, Harris Corporation, paid starting rent in the high-$30s, back in the lows of 2010.
WTS Relocates to WTCWTS Proprietary Trading Group leased 13,030 SF on part of the 38th and part of the 39th floors of 17 State Street. The mid-$50s starting rent will commence after close to a year of free rent. The proprietary broker-dealer will relocate to the World Trade Center submarket from 100 Fifth Avenue and pay rent similar to BATS Global Markets, who recently expanded on the 31st floor.
Another Floor Taken at 386 PAS
Lowe Campbell Ewald, an advertising and marketing communications agency, signed a lease for the 15th floor of 386 Park Avenue South. The 13,121 SF space will rent for high-$50s to low-$60s PSF during the 10-year term. The rent is in line with other leases in the renovated building, such as NewsCred and Impact Republic.
